Description
Unity of Phoenix is seeking an Ordained Unity Minister who is an energetic team player to be a full time Pastoral Care Minister who will also lead Wednesday night services and has a passion for building community, connecting and engaging people to participate, getting involved, and taking ownership. This person will have a prayer consciousness, warm personality, and presence with the gift of being organized and thorough.
On Sundays from time to time there will be some platform speaking and leading meditation for the associate minister who has joy for teaching spiritual principles. There will be extra pay for teaching classes, and officiating weddings, memorials, and christenings.
The Unity of Phoenix Spiritual Center is located in north Phoenix and sits on 15 acres of land. We have two large buildings, an admin building with offices and YFM ministry, and our sanctuary that seats 800. Outside features a large courtyard, a grove with patio furniture, plus a large lawn area where we hold Easter sunrise services. We also a have beautiful prayer garden with a waterfall, and a labyrinth.
Phoenix is a beautiful growing city that has great weather, theatre, and sports teams. Yes, it gets hot in the summer, but six months of the year Phoenix is absolutely heavenly!
