Description:
We are a dedicated ministry with a currently smaller congregation. Our area is conducive to drawing from a rather large, diverse community, with a huge university, a four year community college, three large hospitals, museums, live theatre and music, state parks, rivers, springs, many open green walking spaces, and much more.
Our focus is pastoral care. We are seeking spiritual leadership from a Unity minister who is both a team leader and a team player. S/He will make use of the talent we have available, help us grow, grow with us, and be a part of our Unity family. S/He will provide inspirational messages/services, leadership training, administrative guidance, encouragement and support through church transition and individual transformation.
A part time minister would speak at least two Sundays a month, plus some special services as agreed upon. Other duties may include Board training, teaching classes, facilitating/re-energizing our prayer ministry, overseeing church operations. Some scheduled office hours are needed.
We anticipate this position to become full time with commensurate salary as the church grows. Specific duties and responsibilities may be negotiated according to individual skills, talents and available resources.
