Description
Would you like to minister to a church located on a large five-acre wooded lot located in the heart of Central Florida? If you are a passionate and compassionate leader, Unity near The Villages might be your new spiritual home. We have been following Integral Ministry Practices (IMP) for five years and we seek a minister who will continue and embrace our mission centric direction.
Our church property is nestled in a neighborhood of Fruitland Park. Founded in 2008, we have managed to purchase and pay off our building and continue to be mortgage free. We are convenient to two major airports, Orlando and Tampa.
Our mostly retired congregation consists of 80 governing members and 30 community members that take ownership and are actively engaged in our ministry through volunteering and participation. Additional support includes three active LUTs and three Licensed Spiritual Practitioners. Our Sunday service averages 88, plus virtual attendees. We send a weekly E-Newsletter to approximately 500. We are a heart centered ministry that offers regular activities to our congregation. Some of these include SpiritGroups, Prayer Group, Prayer Chaplain calls, and health and well-being seminars. We are a fun-loving social group with events throughout the year. Some future goals include expanding our social media, local outreach, grief ministry, care visits, and improving our building and grounds.
Our By-Laws were recently updated to include Integral Ministry Practices (IMP) and have been approved by UWM.
